About Us

We are burmese people living and working in Singapore doing something for our countrymen who are in urgent need of our help for their survivor. We can't just sit here in our home and eat to our merry when people affected by the NARGIS cyclone are trying to survive the aftermath.

We are committed to help our countrymen in this critical time. Currently we are in contact with Byamaso casket service and social organization head by our famous actor Ko Kyaw Thu in Myanmar (Burma). We are also contacting various social organizations in affected townships/region to set up aid distribution centers.

We promise to use your gifts wisely and effectively to reach of the cyclone victims. We will send 100% of your donations will go directly to Cyclone Nargis victims in Myanmar (Burma), except charges incurred by paypal service fee (3.4% + 0.50 SGD) per donation. As such, we would like to appeal to donate atleast SGD 5.00 or more. Please forward this url or help us spread the news.

At the end of donation campaign and distribution of aid to Cyclone Nargis victims, we will release full accountability of how the donation is used.

Fact About Cyclone Nargis

On the night of 2 May 2008, killer cyclone swept through South West region of Myanmar (Burma) including the former Capital, Yangon and the well known rice plantation area of Irrawaddy delta.

The impact of the disaster left more than 2.5 million people homeless and over hundred of thousand people dead or missing.

"State TV has put the official death toll of the 2 May storm at 78,000. Another 56,000 people are thought to be missing according to the latest official estimates, which nearly double the figures released on Thursday, raising fears the final human toll may be enormous."

With no fresh drinking water, no power supply, no food, life aftermath seems impossible. Debris and fallen trees continue to block the streets. Due to the lack of telecommunications, we are still unable to access the extend of the damage. However, in an impoverished country where people live on a hand-to-mouth basis.

With moonson drewing around the corner, the survivors have little or no shelter and with the little available relief shelters over crowded with cyclone victims.
